Our youngest fan (so far)!!!

This handsome young English lad is Charles (Charlie) Bertolotti, 18 months of age, who travelled from England to visit our farm with parents Sarah and Alex.

Charlie loved the Connecticut "farm life" and in particular asked to see our Lipizzans each morning and evening, who were equally fascinated by this tiny dynamo.

It looks like the start to a beautiful relationship...

Horse Organization News

As a Trustee and Director of the Lipizzan Association of North America (LANA), Susan Castle hosted a booth for LANA at the November 2004 Northeast Equine Affaire in West Springfield Massachusetts. Over 100,000 visitors attended the Equine Affaire. On display were Castle Lipizzans’ horses, Conversano Tropina-78 (Austrian import) and Gratia (Austrian import). Both horses lived up to the “golden nature” of Lipizzans, enchanting viewers who were lucky enough to see a Lipizzan up close and personal. A big thank you goes to Keith Duly and Judy Casper for helping out at this outstanding event.

Look for Castle Lipizzans at more East Coast shows in 2005-2006, including the “Big E” Exposition, New England’s largest multi-state exhibition. Stay tuned for more information.

Our Farm

Susan Castle and Keith Duly travel to Austria later this year in celebration of the anniversary of the Lipizzan horse and the rescue of the Lipizzan breed by General George S. Patton. As one of the first importers of Lipizzan horses to the United States, Susan and Keith have been invited to a private audience at the Piber National Stud, where they will discuss importing new bloodstock to the United States. Contact Castle Lipizzans if you are looking to purchase that special imported horse for competitive dressage, driving, show or breeding.

Look for photos of Siglavy's training as soon as I get them from the instructors.
